Douglas Beyers and Julia Drachman - Game design
Doug and Julia live in Seattle, Washington. One day a few years ago, Julia found Doug at the kitchen table, sketching out strange diagrams. She asked what he was up to, and Doug said “Don’t laugh, but I had this idea for a board game, and I’m trying to figure out how to measure the distance between planets…” Julia suggested “What about a string with knots in it?” and the rest is history. They’ve been working together on For All Mankind and other projects ever since.
